Product Condition Policy
As a second-hand retailer, we sell items in a variety of conditions. Each product is carefully inspected and assigned one of the following condition ratings. Please read these descriptions carefully, as they form part of the product’s description.
**New with Tag:** The item is in new, unworn, and unused condition, with the original retail tags still attached. It has no signs of wear or defects.
**New without Tag:** The item is in new, unworn, and unused condition but no longer has the original retail tags. It has no signs of wear or defects.
**Excellent:** The item is pre-owned but shows virtually no signs of wear. It has been used very lightly and could almost pass for new. Any imperfections are negligible.
**Very Good:** The item is pre-owned and shows minimal, light signs of wear consistent with light use (e.g., very slight fading or minor pilling). It has no significant flaws or defects.
**Good:** The item is pre-owned and shows moderate, visible signs of wear from regular use (e.g., general fading, light pilling, small marks, or minor scuffs). The item is fully functional. Any specific flaws will be noted in the product description.
**Fair:** The item is pre-owned and shows significant signs of wear or has noticeable flaws (e.g., visible stains, pilling, small tears, fading, or hardware damage). The item is still functional, but its imperfections will be clearly noted and/or photographed in the product description.
Payment & Delivery
Payments
We accept secure online payments by credit and debit card through Stripe, our payment-service provider.
Stripe allows customers to pay using all major cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
All transactions are encrypted and processed through Stripeās secure payment platform in accordance with the EU Payment Services Directive (PSD2) and industry PCI-DSS standards.
Payment is taken at the time of order confirmation.
Prices are shown in euro (ā¬) and include VAT where applicable.
If your card or account uses another currency, your bank may apply currency-conversion fees according to its policies.
Keels does not store or have access to your full payment details; these are processed exclusively by Stripe.

Refunds for returned items will be issued to the same payment method used for the original purchase, through Stripeās refund system, within 14 days of acceptance of the return.
We also support alternative payment methods offered through Stripe, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, depending on your device and region.
Payment Security and Liability
All payments made through our website are processed securely by Stripe, using encrypted connections and industry-standard PCI-DSS security.
Keels does not store or have access to your credit or debit card numbers at any time.
You are responsible for ensuring that the payment details you provide are correct and that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.
If your payment is declined, the order will not be processed.
In the event of unauthorized use of your payment card or payment information, you must immediately notify your card issuer and, if applicable, Stripe or your payment provider.
Keels cannot be held responsible for any losses resulting from unauthorized use of your payment information unless caused by our own negligence or error.
We reserve the right to cancel an order if payment is not authorized or if we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
5. Order Confirmation, Acceptance, Refusal and Invoicing
After you place an order, you will receive an automatic email confirming that we have received your purchase request. This confirmation is an acknowledgement of your offer to purchase and does not yet constitute acceptance of your order.
Order Acceptance and Refusal
Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase on your part. The legal sales contract is not considered concluded until we dispatch the products to you and you receive the shipping confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for objective and legitimate reasons, prior to the conclusion of the contract.
Reasons for refusing or canceling an order include, but are not limited to: * Product Unavailability: The product is no longer in stock and cannot be restocked.
* Price or Description Errors: An incorrect price or essential erroneous information about the product was displayed, which we cannot honor.
* Inability to Process Payment: Your payment method is declined, invalid, or the payment information cannot be verified.
* Suspicion of Fraud: Indications of fraudulent, unauthorized, or law-breaking activity are detected, according to our internal security systems.
* Shipping Restrictions: Logistical impossibility of delivering to the address provided.
* Violation of Terms: The order violates a specific site policy (e.g., quantity limits per customer for promotional products) or there is a suspicion that the purchase is intended for unauthorized commercial resale.
If your order is canceled after payment has been made, we will initiate a full refund to your original payment method within the legal timeframe (14 days).
Service Termination and Account Restriction
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to restrict access, suspend or close the account of any client, and to refuse the provision of future services. Such a decision will only be made based on legitimate business reasons, including but not limited to:
* Repeated Violations: Serious or repeated violation of any of these Terms and Conditions.
* Fraudulent or Illegal Activities: Using the account to commit fraud, including the abuse of chargebacks or the use of false or stolen payment information.
* Abuse and Harassment: Abusive, threatening, vulgar, or harassing language or behavior towards our customer support staff.
* Abuse of Returns: A pattern of returns that indicates an abuse of the return policy (e.g., “wardrobing” – repeatedly wearing and returning products) which generates unsustainable operational costs.
* Harmful Activities: Any attempt to disrupt or compromise the security and technical operation of the website.
Non-Discrimination Policy
We emphasize that all decisions to refuse an order or terminate service are based exclusively on the objective and legitimate business reasons mentioned above. In accordance with European Union law and Romanian Government Ordinance (OG) no. 137/2000, our company WILL NOT REFUSE services or restrict any client’s access based on criteria of race, nationality, ethnic origin, language, religion, social category, beliefs, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other criterion protected by law.
Invoicing
Invoices are issued electronically in EUR to the billing information provided at checkout. Electronic invoices are valid without signature or stamp in accordance with applicable EU and Romanian legislation.
Delivery Options: Orders are shipped based on the delivery option selected during checkout, within the specified time frames.
In case of external delivery delays, we will make every reasonable effort to resolve the situation quickly.

6. Return Policy
You have the right to return purchased items within 14 calendar days, in accordance with EU consumer protection law.
Should you need to return an item, please allow up to 14 calendar days for your return to reach us and be processed.
Conditions for Return:
- Items must be returned in their original packaging and condition.
